While the physical body is of course central to yoga, our primary intention is not to become leaner, more toned or more muscular. Rather, yoga is about developing a healthier relationship with our physical bodies and simultaneously with our minds and our emotions - in other words with ourselves!​

Former London lawyer, I gave up full time work to move to Provence with my husband, where my journey with yoga began...

Janet Henderson

I started practising yoga in 2003 when I was expecting my first child, but it was not until 2008 that I realised its life-changing potential, as I developed a regular home practice. Being based in a tiny village in deepest, darkest Provence, yoga helped me to weather the myriad challenges of motherhood and to adapt to life in rural France - and then to take my first steps on the journey home to my true Self.​
